When this vehicle came in it was not running, The owner parked it 10 years ago because they got a little too elderly to use it. We got it running on starter fluid and it seems to run well so we pulled the tank, sent it out to a local Radiator shop, had it boiled out, Replaced the fuel filters and now it runs and drives. Based on receipts we found inside we believe this couch to be 32 feet, but the vin decoder we tried does not give us More details , So you should and verify the van if The length is of critical import to you.

The body and paint are good, the paint is faded, is not very rusty underneath.

The interior is what we would call good. Not a lot of signs of wear. Could use a good detailing/shampoo. 

Motor is a GAS v8 cyl auto transmission, Chev 454. Tires have good tread but are very old and cracked.

The vehicle is smogged and sold with a smog certificate.

UPDATE 6-16-22. After driving this rig about 15 miles and to the Smog station here’s what we discovered: the tires are a little bit lumpy and bumpy, they have good tread but are very old and cracked. When the turn signals are put on the light illuminates but doesn’t flash so we suspect the flasher relay is out, we will try to fix and update. The vehicle is rustier than we thought underneath, the fuel lines and frame members all have surface rust. The gas gauge does not work, we charged the AC but it quit working although the compressor does come on, so there must be a leak. We will try to get it going and update the post. We changed the vacuum module in the transmission and also the radiator overflow bottle and radiator cap. In driving down the road the temperature stays under half even on a 110° Vegas day but when sitting at stoplights it tends to creep up to about three-quarter on the gauge. The cushions for the bed are missing, some local tweakers are sleeping better because of that. The motor seems very smooth as does the transmission. The brakes, steering, suspension all feel good. We have not tested any of the auxiliary systems like roof AC, water heater, fridge, generator so we do not know their condition.

UPDATE 7/9 we did not get the AC or turn signals looked at, we are down to one part-time mechanic with basic skills so we just didn’t get it resolved. We were hoping to hire some more mechanics, but finding a decent mechanic is like trying to find a bag of $20 bills on the Las Vegas strip, tough to do.

You may also inspect the vehicle at 3430 E. Flamingo (NEW LOCATION) the Day of the auction ONLY. Pick up of sold vehicles is also at this location. Vehicles are stored elsewhere until the day of the auction to reduce vandalism. We will be available at that location to show all our vehicles Saturday 7/9 from 9 to 1 and we allow inspection/brief test drives on that day only. Our cars are sold as is and there is no warranty or guarantee. We drive these cars briefly, typically about 20 miles, and note any obvious problems we find but we do not do any kind of thorough inspection.

If you just show up chances are you will be standing around and waiting so please make an appointment first. We only accept cash for payment , No Zell not Venmo no PayPal. Please bring exact change And ID. Pick up is at 3430 E. Flamingo (NEW LOCATION). We reserve the right to remove this vehicle from Auction if we discover Issues That might affect the sale.

Terms are for cash only in person at pick up, Monday following the auction. The bidding will extend for four minutes if a bid is made within the last four minutes before closing. This could extend the bidding for sometime after the post to close. To avoid missing out at the last minute, please put your max bid in well before the close of bidding. Note; we are a charity and not a dealer so we cannot give you a temporary permit or a DRS number, but our cars are sold With no sales tax or other fees, except the auction fee (10% of purchase price).
