ANNOUNCEMENTS (IMPORTANT INFO, PLEASE READ)

·         This vehicle was donated to the Nevada paralyzed veterans and will be sold through MotoBucks

·         Our cars are SOLD AS IS WHERE IS and there is NO WARRANTY or GUARANTEE.

·         We drive the vehicles we sell briefly, typically about 30 miles, and repair or note any obvious problems we find but we DO NOT do any kind of major multi point inspection.

·         Please read this post in detail before asking any questions, most will be answered here. We make answering questions that are already addressed here a low priority.

·

·         We used to leave repair receipts and service records in the vehicles, but a number of buyers got the donors personal information from those receipts and contacted our donors for additional information about the vehicle. Several angry donors then called us because they did not want that contact. So now we ask donors to remove Anything with their personal information on it prior to donating the vehicle, so we do not have service records or repair history.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION

·         Please read the description in detail before asking any questions, most will be answered here. We answer questions that are already addressed below in the Vehicle Description a low priority.

Details: The mileage is just a guess due to age of vehicle. When this vehicle came in, it was not in running, it has been sitting for many years. Fortunately, the fuel tank was just a plastic boat tank. It contained in one of the side compartments. We flush that out and put in the battery, lubricated the cylinders and fired it up. It actually ran pretty well but the brakes and Clutch did not work at all, the master cylinders were completely rotted so we sent them out to a company who rebuilds antique master cylinders, and are just waiting for those to come back before we drive it. The engine is a 534. V8, the largest Ford ever made in a gas motor. We will update the running and driving condition. Once we get it back together. Note the tires are terrible, extremely old and cracked but the good news is they are probably 20 ply, and even though they look terrible on the outside, they are still holding Air And would likely be OK for short distances say to load on the trailer drive to the tire shop very slowly but freeway speeds are definitely out.

UPDATE: we pulled the master cylinders and sent them out for rebuilding before Christmas and were supposed to get them back before the end of the year but they arrived right before the auction leaving us no time to get This truck ready so we had to push the auction day back.

UPDATE: We got the master cylinders back on bled them and we're actually able to move this vehicle forward and back a little bit. The tires are a little too sketchy for us and it's a little too big to go driving down the street but we did move it and it seems to run reasonably well. The carburetor could almost certainly stand to rebuild, or at least a cleaning. It's not too bad though as it runs and drives.

Running condition:  Runs and Drives

Exterior condition: The body is fair; It does have some minor Dents dings and scratches here and there but we would call it decent. It definitely has rust here and there. The vehicle was originally from New Jersey and it was driven out here about 20 years ago. There are signs of rust around the body and underneath. We will update with more pictures of that once we get it driving and out of the shop.

Interior condition: The upholstery is what we call good, old Maybe could stand a good detail.

Smog Ready: N/A

AC Working: N/A
